    Vadouvan Curry Ketchup

    "This recipe was inspired by our founder’s mom, who discovered (and fell head over heels for) curry ketchup on a trip to the Netherlands. She tried to recreate it back home in Canada but couldn’t find a curry with the same flavour profile — until our Vadouvan Curry came along, that is. This easy-to-make currytastic concoction goes well with anything from burgers to roasted potatoes.

    • 1 tbsp Vadouvan curry
    • 1 tsp granulated sugar
    • ½ cup ketchup

    Preparation

    1. In a mortar & pestle grind Vadouvan Curry and sugar to a powder.
    2. Add ketchup into a small bowl and mix in ground curry and sugar. Mix to fully encorporate.
    3. Store covered in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving.

    Cette recette a été inspirée par la maman de notre fondatrice, qui a découvert (et est tombée sous le charme) du ketchup au cari lors d'un voyage aux Pays-Bas. Elle a essayé de le recréer chez elle au Canada, mais n'a pas pu trouver un cari avec le même profil de saveur - jusqu'à ce que notre Cari Vadouvan arrive. Cette concoction cari-fantastique facile à faire se marie divinement bien avec tout, des hamburgers aux patates rôties.

    • 1 c. à soupe Cari Vadouvan
    • 1 c. à thé sucre
    • ½ tasse ketchup

    Préparation

    1. Dans un mortier et pilon, broyer le Cari Vadouvan et le sucre en poudre.
    2. Mettre le ketchup dans un petit bol et ajouter le cari et le sucre moulus. Mélanger pour bien incorporer.
    3. Couvrir et réfrigérer pendant au moins 1 heure avant de servir.
