Crispy 'Ono Pok� Bites

Crispy, golden bites with all the savoury, sesame-rich flavour of your favourite pok� bowl. Perfect for dipping, sharing or snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Hawaiian 'Ono Poke
  • 1 1/2 cup cooked sushi rice, cooled
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar, divided
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (or our Organic Spicy Chili Crunch)
  • 4 nori sheets, cut into 3" squares
  • 1 lb salmon, cut into 1/2'' cubes
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • Garnish
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled, seeded and cubed
  • 1 large avocado, peeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp spicy mayo

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400�F and lightly grease a muffin tin.

  2. With a microwave or stovetop, gently heat the rice vinegar and sugar until fully dissolved. Mix well into the cooled rice.

  3. In a large bowl, mix salmon, sesame oil, chili flakes, and soy sauce.

  4. Add about 2-3 tbsp of the rice mixture to each nori square, then gently press into the muffin tin. Repeat until all muffin tin cavities are filled.

  5. Top each nori cup with your salmon mixture.

  6. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your liking.

  7. Remove from the oven and garnish. Drizzle with spicy mayo and the Hawaiian 'Ono Poke.
